    Anyone that has ever worked with the older nitro based dynamites knows the hazards- it is NOT a premature explosion. It is the damndest headache you can ever imagine. Nothing will cure it but time (ice cream helps)

    That was from BREATHING fumes from nitroglycerin. I do not even want to think about drinking it. Stuff is a potent vasodilator.

    Something about this story is just wrong. My BS detector is pinging away like mad.

    Nitroglycerine is standard treatment for cardiac arterial blockage. It does give quite a head ache but dilates arteries and can stop a heart attack. Many of us owe our lives to fast responding medical personnel.
