What I typed got changed...Why?

I know that sites delete or reword profanity...but why, when you type "the War of Northern Aggression ", it comes out "the Northern War of Aggression." Who makes that decision?

    See what I mean? I typed Cxxxl War and the above printed.

    I deleted my post where that happened because that isn't the way I view the Cxxxl War.

    CaptFun is the site manager and has the final word on the bad word filter issue.

    The filter runs 17 pages in length, although many of the entries are websites, which show up as {elsewhere}. Administrators have access to the filter and decide what comes out when a specific word or phrase is typed in.

    It really isn't a problem now that I know how to get around it and I have a large enough vocabulary that negates my having to use profanity in civil discussions... I was just curious as to why that particular term was redirected to something different.[:)]
