I can only hope that establishment politician pukes like the Charlottesville mayor, Virginia governor, and Lindsey Graham types will be run out of office when the time comes. Thanks for the bright note about our southern flag, Sam. The good news here is that they keep popping up here and there. Hopefully these latest attacks on our historical monuments will see more landowners and such flags crop up faster than ever now!

also, I find it strange that the police watched and pawned off their responsibility by saying it was in the county and they were city police.

The Monument is on county property in the city. The Durham County Sheriff is particularly mil toast. His response....
He continued: ?My deputies showed great restraint and respect for the constitutional rights of the group expressing their anger and disgust for recent events in our country. Racism and incivility have no place in our country or Durham.?
Apparently it is now a constitutional right to destroy property because you are upset.
