If anyone has this .... what brand ammo are you shooting? Any luck with cheap bulk ammo such as Blazer or Thunderbolts

    I don't have that specific rifle, but I've had experience with the Thunderbolts. Back when they were cheap I bought a thousand rounds. Shot about 50 and they leaded my barrel really bad. I'm not talking a thin layer of lead, but big globs of lead that made the subsequent shots go 8" off target at 15 yards. Couldn't even pass a cleaning rod through it to clean it. Took me 4 hours to get that gunk off slowly and methodically. I literally threw the rest out and made it my mission to warn everyone else about the Thunderbolts.

    Your mileage may vary, but be careful with those.

    I have a M&P Ar15 .22 that I shoot so far anything through, Winchester 333 & 555 boxes, Remington golden, and CCI.
    Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

    I have one on order just because I have around 20,000 rounds of mixed brands of 22lr on hand. Mostly Federal and Winchester but a lot of Blazer too. If they cycle through that is a lot of shooting cheaper than .223 ammo for afternoons at camp with the grandkids.

    Buy more mags though I can't stop shooting once I start.
