I have been working on a marlin Model 90 that I found on GB. I cleaned the receiver and swapped the the stock. Now I'm finishing it and soon I will put it together. I want to do a oli finish but the forend is light how can I darken it to match the buttstock?

I got a stripped Stainless Rossi 38 Model 88 in a bunch of gun parts I bought. I started tinkering around and found I have everything but the cylinder and crane , side plate and 3 screws. Anybody know where I can find these parts. None of the online parts people have them and I can't find them on this or other auction sites. No hurry on finding them but let me know if you have any or know of anyone who does

I wonder how something like that happens? The choke dosnt seem to have nearly the damage the barrel does, wouldnt they be about the same?

The choke tube was where the plug (obstruction) was.

Probably stuck the barrel down into the mud while hunting, or maybe a separated case stuck in the choke tube?

I wonder if the tube was to thin after the chokes were installed
