Warshin Machine is trying to escape HELP!!!

So my BnL calls and says the bucket in his washer spins but wobbles really bad at top almost like it has fallen out of what ever holds the top in place... any ideas on how to fix it


It's unloaded and still wobbles so bad it sounds like a jack hammer inside the laundry room

make sure it is balanced, depending on how old it is newer ones just pick up the back a few inches as if you where tilting it forward they have self levelers, crude ones but they work, but sometimes give way a bit

At the top of the agitator is a bunch of bushings, they are shot. Get a repair man to put new ones in.

One of the springs (3 IIRC) that stabilize the tub has come off, pull the shell off and reconnect it, it's caused by a un attended un balanced load....

I made one out of a bed spring

Check the springs first.
Then if it has a counter balancer at the bottom of the tub. If so it may have gone bad.
