Chinese Fake Parts 'Flood' US Military?

Gosh I wonder if any of those electronic parts that are chips have a back door to errrr cause problems? This could become a disaster if Trump get us in a shooting war over there in The S.China Sea?

"The failure of a single electronic part can leave a soldier, sailor, airman or Marine vulnerable at the worst possible time," the report said.
"Unfortunately, a flood of counterfeit electronic parts has made it a lot harder to prevent that from happening."
The fakes included parts in the Electromagnetic Interference Filters used in night missions and in operation of "hellfire" missiles on SH-60B Navy helicopters.
The were also found in memory chips in the display systems of C-17 Globemaster III and C-130J military cargo planes, and refurbished ice detection modules on the Navy P-8A Poseidon, modified Boeing 737 aircraft incorporated with anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare capabilities.

This has been going on with the commercial airlines for several years. In fact, several commercial airlines get their air craft overhauls done by a huge repair facility in China. They must have a few "FAA certified" repair techs in the building, but most employees have less than stellar training. They don't even try to hide the fact that repair parts are Chinese.

It did not happen in the past 8 years. It goes all the back to Clinton.. Part of the NAFTA agreement gave China access to US military secrets.
