I wish I had never sold my 69 Charger [V]

To make it worse, the idiot that bought it thought that he could jump it like the General Lee!

'73 Roadrunner. Pretty much the same thing, I guess. The 340 in it wasn't built too hot, but it would walk away from that 5.0 Mustang in the background.[:D]

I had a '71 roadrunner like that but mine was what they called 'tawney gold' (a dark metalic gold) with the gold racing stripe on the back. It had a 383 engine and ran like greased lightning. Back in those days you could out run the law and it not be a felony.

Agreed. The super bee was my favorite car. I had a 1969 super bee with the 440. My sister wrapped it around a tree after taking it without my permission. And no, I never forgave her[:(!][:(!][:(!]

Passed a Road Runner on I65 last week.

Rusted and Busted and I would have loved to have owned it.

Guy driving it (with the windows down, and sweating) looked like he knew exactly what he had and was happy to have it.

383 Mopar engine was the biggest TURD they ever manufactured...
The heads were ok but, only mated with a 440 block.

    Fishkiller,
You must be confused. 383 was one of the
best engines to come out of Mopar.
