Don't laugh.....I'm stuck on Metroid Prime WII

Sometimes I play a video game because it takes my mind completely off everything. The game of choice for now has been Metroid Prime Corruption on the WII. I have gotten to a place where there are TWO beacons of some kind (like satellite dishes) where you can pull some levers down and the dishes on the beacons vanish for a short period of time. there is some large thingamabob in the middle of the area that I THINK I have to do something to....but because of the flying alien bad guys I keep getting killed over and over and over again!!!! I just can't figure out what the heck I am supposed to do!!! I can get the levers pulled, but nothing happens (other than me getting killed) and I am aggrivated.

Ding dang blasted flying dang critters dang it!!!!!!

I just would like to know what I am supposed to do after I pull the levers on the dish-like doo-hickies. I have killed many many alien critters and no matter how much I run around I don't see anything that I am supposed to do.....and then I eventually get killed....again and again and again. I've been stuck for two days straight now.

2 Red Credits: Scans for Armored Pirate Trooper and Rundas

    1 Gold Credit: Rundas Defeated

Enter the main part of the Temple, and some Space Pirates will attack. Scan
one of the crates around the room for a log entry, then scan one of the Armored
Space Pirates for another log entry. Eliminate the pirates until Rundas
appears. Scan him for a log entry, then start firing away at him. His armor
will protect him, but once you hit him enough, he'll be stunned for a few
seconds. Run up to him and use your grapple lasso to rip his armor off. While
it's off, you'll be able to hurt him (you can tell if it's hurting him because
he'll flash red instead of yellow... not to mention that his health bar will
    start going down >_>).

Activating your PED while he's vulnerable will make short work of him. Collect
the Ice Missiles he leaves behind, then walk into the hologram to activate the
elevator. Head through the door at the bottom.

Go here, just do a Ctrl F for that temple...

I got passed that part...you have to go back to that same area a little later and this is where the fun starts. The ice-guy was a pain in the rump....but it wasn't like this next part where you just want to pull your hair out by the roots and throw stuff.

I once bought the manual for a game...and it was funny to see me flip through the pages and then grab the controller. It was like doing a cross word puzzle with the answers sitting in front of you...I don't do well with the answers handy.

Thanks for the link....I will see what the deal is with these dish things and MAYBE I won't cheat after that. (right)

Your welcome I used to get stuck on games all the time the real funny thing is the answer to a problem about 100% of the time is always absolutely without a doubt the dumbest most overlooked item or obstacle. (If I had a nickel for everytime I was stuck in tombraider and this was the case id be richer than bill gates) Although as of now if a game is so difficult that I have to look at a guide to figure something out that is usually when I quit playing the game and get rid of and or sell that game.

Now I see what I am supposed to do....I pull the levers and then use my vison to command my ship to bomb the targets.

I have played too late (as usual)....I used to like video games more than lately. It was a long time before the "good ones" came out, you could wait FOREVER before the release day came around. But....it was usually worth the wait. I loved the Zelda games and there are a few others that were a long time coming that I was very excited over. These days it seems they are either waaaay to complicated, or too dang easy. I thought I would try Spyro....but it was sooooo rediculously slow I was actually bored to death.

I can't play any of the military games (the controllers are too much all at once on those games.) I do OK with the puzzle-ish type games. I buy them mostly for the kids....so there is a bit of everything here. I have a teeny censor type role in the buying.....no "gangsta" games (who wants to see their kids playing anything related to THOSE people) and no "perv" games (bikini girls playing volley ball....I don't think so.) Everything else is fine by me. Of course, I have three younger kids....10, 11 and 15. I know eventually they will be playing whatever the heck they want to....but so long as MOM has any say so this is what they have to deal with.
