ya know something...I am really sick and tired of the attacks on Obama and Mrs Obama solely because they are black or their appearance...
the same kind of attacks against W. were severely frowned upon here if I remember correctly

does his political stance really offer you meatheads so little ammo that you must attack his wife??? I know I have plenty of crap to give him for POLITICS without having to resort to attacks that only a total buzzard would stoop to...

Who said anything about their being black??
Seems like there were signatures here regarding how Mrs Bush killed someone in a car accident, I don't recall you getting your panties in a bunch about that.....
    Don

because I was probably not here at the time

The whole thing is much more simple than most of the explainations. The Wedding is about two people getting married. Having the PONTUS there would take away from the day not add to it...

The extra security and details that it takes for the President to attend would detract from the main event.

Hey, don't take the fun out of this with logic

    Sorry...[;)]

I never heard her called a Baboon Woman
but for her to be commenting on what we can
feed our kids, and her to have such a big *.
she needs to quit throwing stones, if you get
    my meaning.
we should be able to raise our kids the way we
see fit, my daughter ate McD's chicken nuggets
and fries when we went out, but here is the
big difference, my daughter played sports
tennis, soccer, long distance running, along with
aerobics. so those that let their kids lay around
get fat, again that there kids. I will be damned
if I am going to give the right to anyone to raise
someone else kids, the white house just cant stay on
point. and the American People are getting mad.
its about health care that 74% did not want, but
pelosi and reid, obama shoved it down our throat,
he is spending more money than all the combined
presidents, he now has taken over the right to pull
the plug on the Net, along with the cell phones and land
lines. He has the unions in his pocket,
    thats the problem.

It's perfectly appropriate to disagree with his politics. Although it would be more effective to avoid racist and insulting comments when discussing Obama; on this board that is the norm and to be expected. I do not like him as President. However, calling the first lady "Baboon Woman" and making fun of her appearance is blatantly racist and offensive. Advocating better nutrition for children is an admirable cause for a first lady. It doesn't mean she needs to starve herself and it's not like she's addicted to McDonald's like Clinton was. Like many people, her shape is geneticly based and while she might lose some weight, her basic shape isn't going to change, not that it would matter to any of us perfect specimens.

Some of you are like the little kids that make fun of the handicapped.
What is the point of being so hate-filled and ignorant?
To all you pansie assed liberal leaning 'love thy neighbor' POS's you talk incessantly about racism. and yet Obambo practically spooged hiself when haiti n his bros were in trouble to go ther even b4 shaking stopped. YET WHITE folks in Christchurch NZ sit there with dead n injured n that POS N word does NOTHING! yes now that those banana stuffin muslim pirates killed innocent americans HELL YES I Am a racist and proud and anyone who wants to debate it may do so. at the end of my well hidden Barrett.50! Im tired of coddling worthless welfare crack whore people whos only mission in life is to whine and cry about how we somehow OWE them. Brits are smarter than we for they dont bow to people and cowtow n try and kiss up. they have class and tradition. perhaps thats something we shoulda learned long ago sadly, we never will. God bless America adn hopefully well one day get a president as for now? we have none only a userper who dares to believe himself competent and worthy of the office, NEVER will be...... SOB is NOT my president.[:(!]

Doesnt anyone in here read newspapers?????

Its rather simple why the President of the United States wasnt invited and same reason applies to why the President of France wasnt invited...

PROTOCOL...thats why...the wedding is NOT a state occasion...so they dont have to invite heads of state, they can invite anyone they choose (with the queen's approval)...he is NOT heir to the throne anytime soon...

From the Daily Mail...a uk paper

Prince William's wedding is not an official "state occasion," since William "is not yet heir to the throne." As a result, protocol does not require the couple to invite heads of state.

    sounds racist.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

As I recall, our Prez & Co didn't observe protocol and showed unwanted familiarity when they last greeted each other.
There were also stupid gifts the O'B's thoughtlessly offended the royals with while they (royals) gave the O'B's a meaningful gift.
Also, his common language style had to have gone over like a lead brick.

but it all comes down to one thing.
they can invite who they wanted to come.
and Obamay lost out, they did not want his
    * there. its their day, and I hope they
    have a nice wonderful day.
cheers to Prince, seems like he has himself
    a very nice lady.
