200F is just about the ideal temperature. My biggest compliant with saunas here in the USA is that they are not hot enough! 95C (about 200F) is actually more comfortable for me than 175F and I find that at above 190F it just does not "feel any hotter". I've been in saunas in Bulgaria at well over 105C (above the boiling point of water) with no issues. A cold plunge or rolling in fresh snow makes for the perfect end. What absolutely kills me, although my girlfriend prefers them to saunas, are steam baths: 100% humidity at high temperatures is simply hell on earth!

I love sauna's and have a perfect location for one in a unfinished portion of the house, wife is afraid she would never see me once it's installed.

in japan I would visit the bathhouse right out of town.
they had a steam room, sauna, the soaking pool.
on those days when you were really beat up, scub down
rise off, get in the steam room, hit the cold tub,
hit the sauna, hit the cold tub, then relax in the
hot tub, get home, fall a sleep. worked wonders

    That sounds great for sure!

I have never slept better than after several rotations of the above.

Miss bouncing between the ice water, sauna and swimming. [:)] [:p] [;)]

I could handle it before, now days I sweat like a pig.
I cant even get into my workshop in the summer for more than
a few minutes before I am soaked to the bone.
