Time for new tires!

My first car and ready for new tires. Driving a 2006 Honda CR-V FWD. Spends enough time outside to dry rot before tread wears out, and no winter weather. Any suggestions?

Might being the operative word.
By the time you add in shipping and local mount/balance charges, your local tire guy will be within a few bucks a tire with his regular price.
Specialty tires are where TR has a slight advantage over the local shop.
Michelin Defenders
Kinda what I am leaning towards. Already have Michelin Density on.
Everything else is not important.

Jap car deserves Chinese tires.

No tire joint takes better care of their customers.
While I generally don't fall for the "extra" insurance plans on car stuff, their small fee is great for ANY thing that goes wrong with a tire you buy from them.
Had a set of tires from them on my 2006 Dakota. Rode them for 48,000
miles, hit a trucker's tie down clamp laying on I65.[xx(]
Rolled the blown out tire into a Discount tire shop and the only thing the salesman said to me was "Have a cup of coffee---it will take us
about 15 minutes to mount and balance a new one for you".
Since I've been in the Atlanta area I've found that Kauffman Tire Co. is the best place I've ever had tires balanced. I've never had to take one back to be rebalanced and their prices are in the ball park with the discount stores. I've also bought wheels and tires on line that they mounted and balanced for me.
