We are the #1 Arms dealer in the world. I believe we have a 33% lock on all arms sales.

    I think England is #2

Have no fear the DEMOCRATs and their slimy brethren in the media will be around soon to tell us the deal was awful, disparage Trump for the entirety if his trip, and spread more blatant hate for the guy.

Yes, a lot of American jobs indeed.
Some good and bad to every deal.
    Pretty good discussion here.

Yes, definitely a double edged sword.

I do not know how much of an "ally" Saudi Arabia (and Wahhabism) is to the US.

Our only "ally" over there (IMHO) is Israel. We'd do best to remember that.

Because arming "moderate Muslims" has worked so well in the past for us..guess Benghazi gave everyone short term memory loss. Eff those goat humpers.,all of them. Don't let 'em into our country because they are too dangerous but let's sell them weapons. Screw the Middle East. The only Country over there that deserves our help is Israel. Saudi Arabia is no friend....guess nobody remembers where the majority of the 9/11 hijackers came from. They are a country that sponsors terrorists...one of the worlds if not THE worlds largest. Remember that when our soldiers over in that hell hole fighting these muzzies and weapons we sold the Saudis end up being used on them.[:(!]

It is the definition of an echo chamber to have an article that is not an honest evaluation, but rather an obviously biased critical report.

There are issues both for and against the SA deal under consideration. That article certainly doesn't add to any thoughtful analysis.

    You're exactly right.

Except for your definition of an echo chamber.

Which is why the article I linked provides data for thoughtful analysis.

So Kushner(scumbag) helped arrange this "deal" by personally asking Lockheed Martin to give the Saudi's a price break. Ya that just great..when do we get our oil discount? Or maybe Cuck Kushner gets a nice kickback down the road. As a super wealthy country did Saudi Arabia reallly need a discount. Plus they already had a $115 billion dollar arms deal they did with Obama. Yes making AMERICA great again by negotiating against the shareholders of Lockheed. Screw these Muslims. For the last few years all you guys on here were against these muzzies...now let's be friends with them and sell them even more weapons? BS.

The article makes perfect sense. There is too much collateral damage caused by Saudi bombing, so we need to cut off the supply of weapons specifically designed to limit collateral damage.[}:)]

    Agree again HPD.

Research Wahhabism, if you are unfamiliar with it. Saudi Arabia is the largest practitioner.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-saudi-security-idUSKCN11D2JQ

Obama administration arms sales offers to Saudi top $115 billion:

The report said U.S. arms offers to Saudi Arabia since Obama took office in January 2009 have included everything from small arms and ammunition to tanks, attack helicopters, air-to-ground missiles, missile defense ships, and warships. Washington also provides maintenance and training to Saudi security forces.

The report say the Arms obama [ small o] offered have yet to be delivered. Like everything else he did , nothing but talk all jive.
Trump Talks Trump does. Action is what counts, not BS.
The Saudis have promised to invest 350 billion dollars in the USA.
That is over $1000 for every American and a few illegals. Nobody made a real deal with obama[small o]because you can't make a deal with a liar. The world knows that. Only Stupid democrat[small d] voters believe him.

Well, at least the Draft Dodger didn't bow to the Saudi prince, like Obama. And, he's probably the one who suggested that Melania drape her hair over her shoulders, rather than wear it in a bun or pony tail; the Saudis consider that "immodest", even for a foreigner.

The Saudi "royal" family is about as royal as the Beverly Hillbillies.
