Not unless it was mounted on a carriage! Not from my shoulder, no way no how.
Any gun that you need to wear a shoulder pad to shoot is too much gun.
Honestly; it looks weaker than the .577 t-tex video that is floating around the internet.
The shell casing looks a bit shorter than what I expected. Just think of the kick if they used modern powders or the nirto propellants the old elephant guns used. Now that would be a kick. [B)]
I'm also a bit surprised that the casing shown is not belted. you think it would need to be considering the more potential for increased pressures here.
The "Belt" on a Belted Cartridge is for uniform seating in the chamber. The "Belt" in not there to add strength to the case.
I wait for somebody to chamber a revolver for it. [:D]

Judging from the picture, I'd have to say it's probably 3.5"-4" long...that's not very short!
BTW...belting has nothing to do with increased pressures. The only function it has is head spacing.
