Allowing NK to get away with launching a missile over Japan signals the end to any America with Balls.

We agreed to protect Japan in return for their not building a offensive military. FAIL

We should have been prepared for this and the minute NK launched into Japanese air space Japan should have been equipped to eliminate NK end of story.

Might as well get used to being a third world country suck up around here in my opinion.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

We have to build our military back up. 8 years of a DEMOCRAT presidency took its toll.

Im tired of the US being the worlds police. Let Japan do what they will but we dont need to have our military in that neck of the woods for all the tea in China.
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

short of nukes there will be no instant elimination with NK, they do have one of the worlds largest military's

even with their inferior equipment it will not be a cakewalk

North Korea?s armed forces counts 1.19 million service members and another 7.7 million reservists. The isolated nation of 25 million people is also home to 3,500 battle tanks, 72 submarines, 302 helicopters, 563 combat aircraft and 21,100 artillery pieces, making up one of the most powerful militaries in the world.

the U.S. has 1,000,000 soldiers but they are scattered in 150 countries and not in one place like they are there in NK

Even if they have 10 million armed forces you have to get them to the battle site, if we strategically zapped them, especially any armor on the border who are they going to shoot at?

All you have to do is look back to what we have already experienced with NK in the early 50's.

I lost an uncle in that war or what some call a police action.

Mainly, if we would have let the military take the lead in that piece of history we would not be dealing with what the politicians set us up for today!

Wouldn't that make stategic bombing easier? If they are such a small area how hard would it be to totally ruin thier day with some WWII style carpet bombing.

Doug MacArthur knew what needed to be done and had the balls to do it, but ask most folks here and they don't like MacArthur.

Goofy * plowboy Truman fired Mac because he left the squirt sitting on a hot tarmac.
People claim Truman was tough and nuked the Japs. It was a no brainer. If he hadn't and people found out we had the bomb, Truman would have been ripped to shreds for the million GI's killed and wounded in Operation Olympic and Coronet.

So, what would you have us do ..... start an all out nuclear war just to show that we have balls?

Pissing on bushes with nuclear bombs is probably not the smartest thing to do, don't forget that North Korea borders both Russia and China.
This is a real global threat and calmer heads and reason should prevail.

Plans are being made and this one has a twist.

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/south-korea-planning-war-decapitation-132232777.html

South Korea and Japan attack North Korea. The US takes no active part but guarantees to remain neutral as long as China does. The ball is now in China's court. Expand the war or let Kim Jong be removed.

This will go a long way to heal the Korean/Japanese animosity that has existed since WWII.

As long as Japan and South Korea have the ABM systems in place and control of the air, they could catch the North Koreans flat footed.

It is a conundrum. They have nukes, they have lots of howtzers trained on Seoul, they have chemical weapons.

Any military action against the rogue regime, and millions will die in S. Korea. I have not read a single battle estimate that disputes that prediction.

Well and good for Trump to talk like a bad *, and I think it is a good idea, but, beyond that, what are you gonna do?

In hindsight, Clinton looks like an inept fool for handing $4 Billion over to the goofy Nip and allowing him to build nukes, all the while assuring us that he would not be able to build nukes.
Reminds me of Obama and Iran.

Japan will have to build up their military. Won't be a ground fight though with the infusion of Nukes. Still we need to let them build their armed forces up and tear up whatever treaty that was that prohibited that. China I would think bump off the fat guy cause it's not profitable to let him keep this up.

True but your not counting the South Korean Army into those numbers. They must have a ton of soldiers as well. It would not be that WE would be fighting N. Korea alone.
