Sometimes you just have a good day......Got up early, had a great devotion time, walked for 30 minutes, got cleaned up and headed to Church. Interesting sermon series that spoke to me...met some new people and headed out for a nice lunch with my lovely bride.
Came home, took a little nap and headed to the lake. I caught 8 bass and half a dozen small crappies. I took this pic while I was fishing.
What kind of ducks are these ??

Came home and took a walk to the back patch of woods on our property to check the "Hole" I have had a game camera on for the last month. I still don't know what lives there but I have some visitor pics....

Look like Blue Wing Teal to me.
They look a lot better plucked and in a roasting pan!
That's some very fine eating!!
Good eating duck but they fly fast and are hard to hit.

Illinois used to have a 9 day teal season in Sept. Really sharpened you up for the big duck season[;)]
i still say that coyote is trying to dig out his lunch....groundhog
I'd agree.
I don't think a deer would be hanging around there if it were a coyote den, even during the day.
