We went up to the Hollywood Casio Saturday and had a great time
We seen this guy coming down the road
Like 90 mph and how they can maneuver that bike on the back wheel is beyond me as per video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCjc3O0cXyw

I never did a wheelie but I totalled 2 bikes, one a BMW. Didn't get a scratch on me.
Those idiots are why my insurance is so costly.
Very few of the kids on crotch rockets are insured so I really doubt that's what dictates the price of motorcycle insurance.

Clearly you don't understand how insurance works. They are not insured and cause death and mayhem. Other peoples insurance has to pay out to cover the loss. Ergo our rates are higher because of idiots.

Insurance rates are based on overall accident statistics, not claims.
How much damage can a motorcycle/ rider really do to an F150?
You would be amazed.
A couple that actually involve pick-ups.

I'm pretty sure I know how insurance works. The number of motorcycles crashing into cars or other vehicles etc. is just a very tiny fraction of the over all accidents on the highways compared to the number of cars and trucks that are involved in accidents. Next time you're driving in really heavy traffic look around at how many motorcycles are on the road. Maybe one in a thousand vehicles are a motorcycle if that many.
Uhhh, here in NY no insurance means no license plate.... You insure the vehicle, not the driver.
I hope NY is more efficient than KS. Some here pay for a months minimum liability, renew the tag, and drive the rest of the year with no insurance. Insurance companies are supposed to report lapsed insurance to state after which the tag is to be pulled by LE. I lost my 72 FLH to just such a driver with no insurance.

It all depends on WHERE AND WHEN!

Some days you can find anything on the highway but isolated events are not going to change your insurance rates.

I saw the aftermath of one in Savannah one day at East Bay and MLK. Crotch rocket impacted the bed of an F150 halfway between the axle and the door. It bent the frame most of the way to the far side. the bed was destroyed. Judging from where the other first responders were standing the riders remains came to rest several hundred feet farther up East Bay.

Exactly.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

I found the one I was originally looking for. Didn't involve a pickup, but illustrates potential damage caused by squids.

There are quite a few, shall we say, gruesome images here.
BE FORWARNED some of these images are Very Graphic.

If he keeps it up, the squid wallie showed will probably wind up on that page.
SQUID=FUTURE ORGAN DONOR.
In high school I was on the football and soccer teams with my good friend Mike Elk, who was killed in a motorcycle crash, age, Guess What? 20 years old. He was a college student at West Georgia College. Closed casket funeral.

Yes, they will. I thought we were talking about uninsured OPERATORS.
Not all wrecks involving motorcycles are the fault of the motorcycle rider. Many are caused by cagers causing the wreck [:0]
Most, involving a cager, are caused by the cager.
