Of the three Punisher movies I'd say it is the best. It sticks closest to the comic book and graphic novels. Really cool flick.

I have only seen the first one, and I like it well enough. Thomas Jane actually gets his arm stitched in that movie.

Do you mean the first one as in the one with Dolph Lundgren?

The first one with Dolph was what it was '80's action flick. Second one with Thomas was funny and the lightest of all of the flicks. Then the third one was more like the Punisher I remembered. Dark and not because the way it was shot.

I've seen all three and like the second and third better than the first.

I always thought DL was the wrong choice for the first flick thought ,IMHO, that Jane fit the profile of Castle best.[;)]

i thought it was entertaining, no doubt about that, but the "crazy" bad guy was so frickin' annoying. they definitely could have done something different for that character, imho.

got a real good chuckle at that tacticool s&w .500 though.
