He's not a crown prince. He is the president elect. What would you expect him to do?[?]

Yep, and he has to prove he is eligible by the first of Dec.. The electoral college will meet om the 15th of Dec. If he can't, They can not legally vote him in

Despite Bells and Whistles, 'Office of President-Elect' Holds No Authority
The props that decorate the stage for the Office of the President-elect serve as just that, since Barack Obama will hold no actual authority in the Executive Branch until Jan. 20.

quote:Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan president, has hailed the victory of his allies in local elections, praising the outcome as a sign of the strength of the country's democratic system.

"Who can say there's a dictatorship in Venezuela?" Chavez said on Monday.

"A new stage is beginning. For me, as the leader of the Venezuelan socialist project, the people are telling me: 'Chavez, keep on the same path,'" he said.

Catching! Where have I heard this before?http://english.aljazeera.net/news/americas/2008/11/2008112419408510393.html
