    At the risk of starting a firestorm...I'd rather not join a union. I think they were probably necessary and did good years ago but now, like the government, they do far more harm than good. The good they do comes at too large a price tag because of all the waste, fraud and abuse. Now, like the government, they are more of the problem than the solution. My opinion...and I'm entitled to it just like you are.
