    I've seen a Colt Banker but never a S&W with that moniker.

    A gun that rare and valuable should have the historical letter documenting its authenticity. Otherwise someone might be suspicious of the total lack of lettering on the barrel suggesting it's been cut. As with any "rare" S&W, I don't pay a collector price unless it has the letter.

    A man that displays at the Alexander NY gun show has one. He didn't mention how rare it was, but it did take center place in his display.
