I appreciate all the input from my thread of a few days ago, on whether you thought it would be better to buy a new car or a used car.

Your comments aided in my decision making process. When ya'll come down to Texas, holler, and I'll buy ya'll lunch!
Oh, and I bought used - low rates and depreciation won the day...

* Sorry, wrong thread. [;)]
Need pics.
When ya come down to Texas, holler, and I'll buy ya lunch!I'm already here and I'd have to travel northwest (up); so I guess that leaves me out! [:(]
Besides, my advice was not to buy other people's problems and odors!
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
What is the new used car that you bought?
2007 Porsche Cayman S - 25k miles
This is the new money hole...And no, I can't quite get to 188 mph!!
Sssswwweeeet![:p]

Nice car.
Thanks, it cost the same as my Maxima did when it was new.
That is ultimately why, spurred on by your comments on my original thread, to buy used over new. A LOT more bang for the buck...
Looks like a chick's car. [:X]
Hey Dano, this isn't the herpes thread. You clicked on the wrong link...

Come on over to my neck of the woods!
No problems (Porsche certified - warranty to 100K).
I left a few odors on the test drive...
Is it pronounced Porsche......or Porsh uh? [:D]
I say Porsh (without the -uh). Too much West Texas in me to say it right...
Hmmmm, 50 years old....buying a sports car.
Did you get a toupee with it?

The way you say it is the correct way. One syllable. The inventor's name is pronounced 'Dr. Porsh'. Joe

So Matty, is this a keeper or another 3 year car for you?
Looks like a great "get outta tha city quicker when TSHTF" car.
I see the two indented pads side by side in the front for my butt cheeks, we can sawzall the top off I guess, but that shifter is located right in between, which may cause some confusion that could result in shifting Mr Willy out of neutral, inadvertantly setting off a series of involuntary reflexive reactions that explode the car like that Jiffy-Pop pan left on the burner way too long when the pretty naked lady came to the door desperately selling insurance that seemed oddly appealing and deserving of some wine before being probed at great length. Eventually she departed with one of your $60 shirts and 14 checks for policies covering atleast 13 things you don't even own but felt like you'd look good in, so may just get someday and be thrilled you had the foresight to have insurance already. By then the Jiffy-Pop reached a stage that needs astro-physics based mathematics to explain, like the expanding universe or a bull walrus's erection. I'd be hard pressed to order my fill at your expense without guilt, since accidentally expanding your new little BMW until it looks like a VW Bus being aggressively mated by a 2000lb walrus nicknamed "The Hammer".
You are rolling BDJ! Don't hurt yourself! Now where is that Jiffy Pop?

What kinda brakes? Ceramic?
Not ceramic. The ceramic brakes were a $4000 option that I would pick if I was gonna track the car...

NICE!

I'm calling "Keeper" on this one, as it will not be my daily driver. A little bit of a garage queen I guess

Now this is my kinda attorney!![:D][:D]
Nice ride.
The Cayman drives better than the 911 and if Porsche were so bold they could produce a better car with the Cayman chassis.(It's also much better looking)
The problem with that is that there are so many 911 repeat buyers they would harm their business.
They will have to wait a generation to produce one in the factory.
If you want to get crazy with it(I wouldn't but you could....) you can put a turbo on that bad boy and light up just about anybody.
This one has the power of a GT3...
