    I also don't understand why the group has to make a big deal about it just go find a different business that will accept your business

    Just plain forcing your veiw, and not respect anothers. Tolerance of "me", don't want to be to you. Find another bakery.

    Here is the e-mail i just got back from comrade vane

    Your point is well-taken; however, the City Market is owned by the city. We have ordinances that specifically prohibit discrimination due to sexual orientation (and other categories such as race, gender, age, etc).

    I have never said to the media that we (the mayor's office) is convinced that Just Cookies did anything wrong. In fact, I've praised Just Cookies for being a wonderful vendor and providing a terrific product.

    But the law is the law, and we are obligated to enforce the law.

    It would be surprising to discover that other cities the size of Indianapolis don't have similar discrimination laws.
