Whats the closest thing to a USGI orig 1911?

Another thread on here (that I can't seem to find now) talked about tighter vs looser tolerances in 1911s. I know there are plenty of manufactures of "match grade" 1911s but is there anyone who has went in the opposite direction and makes looser guns which place a premium on reliability and durability?
