I had a gun stolen, and it was used in the crime in canada
they want me to come up to canada, at the time the gun was
stolen I was in England in the air force, they tried there
best to force me to come to canada, they talked with my CO
that was not good enough, I send a man to England to interview
me,I showed him my passport. they still wanted me to go to
canada. and it was not to claim my gun, they wanted me to
come to canada to charge me with the crime.
I wont step one foot north.
I could prove beyond a doubt that I was not even in the states
when my gun was stole. they ask why I did not call the police
and let them know my gun was stolen, I tried to tell them,
I had no idea my gun was stole, after I got a call from
canada,I called me dad and ask him to check my gun, thats
when I found out it was gone.

How did they trace the gun back to you?

How did they trace the gun back to you?

Your military agencies legal department, I'm sure was in contact with Canadian authorities. Am I correct in that assumption?

If so, did the Canadians either 1. charge you with anything, or 2. describe the law you violated, pending charge?

I'm still off somewhat on just why the Canadians wanted your physical presence. Did they file charges in absentia? Whazzzzup??

    Thanks, Joe

I sure as hell wouldn't want a warrant hanging over my head from Canada.

In Europe they have already agreed to honor all others' laws.

One guy got a parking ticket in Belgium or something but he lives in the UK.

They had him arrested and detained in the UK while they worked through all the extradition paperwork.

Last I heard he spent 21 days in the clink awaiting extradition to the other country.

His own UK cops said there was nothing they could do because their country signed the agreement and they have no control over the quality of the legal system in the other countries that signed the agreement.

I say this because the North American Union is surely not too far away and probably before that happens we will enter into preliminary agreements that will surely make your extradition to Canada a distinct possibility.

I would try to get this cleared up immediately.

Mike, the last time I checked, tracking people down was the detective's job.

All you should do is give him the information that you have.

pretty sure he was a detective

He didnt ask for personnel info Iam pretty sure when the guy I sold it to gave my name address and phone # the detective could find out anything he needed to know about my life....

I Called the sheriffs department and asked to speak to Det so and so and he answered asked who i got it from I told him and said if I could get in touch with seller i got it from to let him know

I did get in touch with who i got it from via email but if seller doesnt get back with me I guess the case is closed and I am out some money
