How many trolls on gun sights?

Just some things have had me thinking. At some of the gunshows around here we have had the abnormal "conspiracy" theorists coming out of the woodwork. Not sure WTH these people are trying to do, but from what i've seen they do not fit with the normal "gun" people types, but instead seem to be trying to show their backside. Same thing on many other internet guns forums that i visit. Some of my computer friends have mentioned that it would be interesting to track exactly where some of these screen names are posting from and see if they are actually anti gun people trying to cause problems. Makes sense considering that the anti's have tried many times to pass themselves off as "responsible" gun owners.

    i never really paid attention to that, but notice that mine says senior member. How did i get that? Being on here for long enough?

    Last gun show I went to was out in Glendale, AZ at the big stadium. Had about a half dozen tables with political candidates collecting signatures, trying to drum up support. Then there were some conspiracy guys, just one table I recall, explaining the complex nature of the coming end of civilization.

    I did not see any Troll_JS.jpg there.


    On the other hand there were quite a few opplanet-williams-gun-sight-firesight-dovetail-set-marlin-25n-and-25mn-eddcec.jpg there, but I wasn't in need of any.

    We know from whistleblower reports that the Gov does use disinformation programs to achieve its goals and to see them pop up on gun sites or at shows would be no surprise. Some are easy to spot and others not so much. I have found on that other gun classified website people who are clearly not gun people fishing for info on people with FFL's. I don't know to what end but I ended up flagging and reporting them. They always posted ads for nice guns at too good to be true prices.

    i have been here a couple years, seen the trolls/antis come and go, currently there are several still hanging around, i wonder what it would take to entice them to "move on" ??

    Sometimes the trolls slip up and post something that is so blatant that it screams "Troll alert, Troll alert" and then again these same trolls hunker down, hide in the weeds alongside the bridges they live under and try to appear nonchalant.

    At the end of the day, trolls are people too and make excellent verbal targets. Sometimes it's more fun to just sit quietly and watch them shoot themselves in the foot which they often do if you just give them time. Just don't * them by taking your verbal shoot too soon.
