Good gun stores in the area?
Decent range, or place to shoot?
I appreciate any input.

Or you can go down to Alpine

Nice range.
Winchester Gallery in Fort Worth off of 820 and Lancaster right on the border with Arlington. A little overpriced on their guns but they have a decent indoor range.

Nice range.
Both are overpriced on their guns. Bills gunshop is next door to Alpine and they are nice old guys and sometimes you'll find A deal. I have been shooting Alpine all my life and it is a nice outdoor range and the folks are good to you.

Overpriced guns tho.
Bills nearby is OK. I've traded some there.
I quit shooting at Alpine 6 years ago because of a few stupid shooters around and a couple of years ago some guns were stolen off the shooting bench.
If you go, keep a good eye on things.
I belong to the Haltom City Rifle and Pistol Club and am much happier.
