Ok, now THAT would be cool =o)

Have Marlin 1895 stainless Guidegun and blued Cowboy in .45/70

But also Davide Pedersoli "Sharps 1874 Sporter" also in .45/70 with the long "William Malcolm" 6x scope on it, and the scope mounted in the micrometer-setup. =o)

Maybe 75 lbs of ammo for them - so that one would do NICELY in the collection. [:p]

Ouch - didn't see that. Oopppsss.

It WOULD be fun, but not at that pricetag, no.

Hmmm, doesn't seem like it's easy to put silencers on it either. [:o)]

Considering the originals go in the $300,000 range, $55,000 is a bargain. Of course, it's a reproduction, and the auction strikes me as a pre-order auction.

I'm not willing to put a $10,000 deposit down with people I don't know, but if any of you feel froggy, be my guest.

Plus, they're selling a "Gatlin" gun. What is a "Gatlin" gun? [}:)]

Just way shy of that much fun! [V] [:0] [:(]

Why do they refer to it as a "Gatlin" gun, instead of Gatling? Just poor spelling? It is not a true Gatling, which is larger and often wheel-mounted. Are they changing the spelling so as not to misrepresent?

Cool gun, though. I'd pay $2,500 for it. Maybe.

That's a LOT of money...not sure I'd want it for that much. Not that I could afford it anyway.

Reading the text, with all the spelling errors, I thought for a second this was one of those hoaxes from China...but I guess not.

I'm sure someone will buy it. It definitely has high "coolness" factor!

This gun does not exactly look like the Gatling Gun I saw in a museum one time and the Gatling Guns I have seen in films. This seller is not providing anyt real information regarding this thing other than that it is made by Colt and that the spelling of the name is off.

Sounds to me as if this is a disaster in the making is someone were to purchase it thinking it is an exact reproduction of the originals. Maybe it is, but it doesn't appear to me to be so.

Also, where is it made and what are the answers to the fifty other questions that people will have about this thing?
