This is Chinese writing. The characters on the left side, reading up to down is a mans name. The name is Zhang Shu lv. The characters on the right are an old Chinese way of counting years. Hope this helps a little. If you send me a clearer pic of the stamp, I might be able to help you more.

This is a stamp stating the mans name (Zhang Shu Lv) and it certifies that he wrote this. It is much the same as our notary public seal of today. I hope this helps.
