I was cutting wood this morning and this guy jumped out of the pile and stared at me. I got a couple carrots and he came right to me. Now to find his owner or a new home for him.

Jack Rabbit I would shoot so many times I could not eat it for all the lead. Had one almost tear my arm off. That was the worst any animal has gotten me.

Regular Bunny Rabbit I could not shoot or Kill and I like eating rabbit.

His Parents now lock it up in a cage because it ran away. The little 5 yr. old pokes its eyes with sticks now, It poops so much, they quit feeding it, no one else wants it because its so sickly looking, Animal Control is threatening the Parents with a big fine because of their Animal is running at large, so the Humane Society is called to come rescue it, and promptly put it down the minute they get it, and off to the Landfill it goes!
Or...You could just eat it! [;)]

We put up found rabbit signs around town. if no one claims it we will keep it after a vet check. it is older and well feed. looks like someone might have dumped him as we have lots of animals running around.

Ever seen a Jackrabbit. If you grab a normal rabbit by the fur behind the head he can move but will not be able to get to you. A jackrabbit on the other hand can bring those long legs almost all the way around. That thing Raked my arm with the longest claws I've seen almost shredded my arm. This was a tame on at that. Wild one would kill you.

More than once, I've shot one that came back to life, and while holding them by the Ears, they start kicking!
They love to "Slice and Dice", the Forearms and Kidneys!
