My wife just picked up one of these as a replacement for her LCP. She was using the LCP as her backup but wanted a little more oomph so stepped up to the 9mm.
We finally got it to the range this weekend and I was very impressed with this little pistol! We put about 200 rounds of Remington, Winchester, and Hornady Critical Defense ammo downrange and it ran without a hiccup. All rounds were 115 grain.
This is a striker fired pistol and it has a fairly long pull but it is very smooth. The sights are all white dots and very good, way better than the rudimentary sights on the LCP. We were shooting at standard IDPA targets and she managed to keep all shots well within the -0 circle at 7-15 yards, even shooting rapid fire.
This version of the LC9 comes without the thumb safety and has a Glock style 'trigger' safety (gasp!). We both liked this version best as she has shot Glocks as her duty pistol for almost 20 years and we thought it best to not have to learn to flick the safety off. This is primarily her backup and if things have gotten to the point that she needs it I'd rather it had the controls set up like what she's used to.
My only complaint about the pistol, and it's a small one, is that the trigger reset is pretty long.
We met up with another couple (he's one of the cops my wife supervises) and their three daughters and spent most of the morning shooting everything from the Buckmark up to the AR's and the M2. You should have seen the girls grinning when they were clanging the steel with that Buckmark! Their oldest, about 12 I think, even tried out the M2 with some trap loads. That really brought the grins out!

The LC9 pro.made it to the end of my considerations. Because.of.the long trigger pulls found in most of the pocket nines I went with a Sig 938. The LC9 gets great reviews. I am sure it would.have been a good choice had I chosen it.
I'm considering the Sig 938. How do you like yours?

I haven't shot it yet, I'll be taking it to the range in the first week or so of April. Mine is the SAS and it appears to be built very well. I had a Kahr CM-9 which was a great little pocket gun but the trigger sucked, most especially the long reset, which screwed me up on a strings of fire as I was so used to the short reset of a Glock trigger. The Sig has a much shorter trigger and reset being it is SA.
