One day it is going to happen live on TV

During live storm reporting, at some weather ravaged location, during the height of the storm one of the idiots calling themselves reporters is going to catch a sailing 2X4 (or street sign) right through the head. They are going to lay there quivering, dead for all to see LIVE on TV.
Television reporters are not immune to laws of nature, and Darwin.
Get the heck out of the streets and get to shelter like everybody else.

heavens NO ! i want to to see that 2X4 slam them down, or recall that Tsunami wave clip where it washed a bunch of japs (?) off a sea wall ? that too would be great, but only if there were a 100+ reporters on that sea wall.[:D] [:D]
Now they have come out of hiding [:D]

A start!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
That is how they broadcast. How seldom do the Spindly Mobile Unit Satellite towers actually lose signal? Not often. That is the indicator of how bad it really is - if they lose Lock on the Satellite, then I might believe it is getting pretty windy.
They broadcast from places where they can LOOK like they are really "In It", and "Earn Their Bones", but are in reality in some Well-protected place.
IMHO, of course.
BUT he's too damn fat [:0]
I was watching those whackjobs broadcasting in the storm last night and I could not tell if they were exagerating the wind effects or if they were truly getting blown around. I agree, just because it adds drama to their report, doesn't make it smart. If they want to do drama, let them go to Broadway and do some live theater. Bunch of knuckleheads! I would not lose too much sleep if Sheepherd Smith got sucked up into a funnel cloud but I would be upset if Stephanie Abrams from the Weather Channel got taken by a twister, she is hot!
We have a drama-queen investigative reporter down here in Houston that they send to cover hurricanes. In one report, he was leaning forward and talking about how strong the wind was. Well, in the background, a couple was walking with no problems and looking at him like he was an idiot.
They'll keep doing this idiocy until somebody DOES get killed. And it will happen, sure as shootin'.
I have lived in SE Fl. for over 35 years and have seen a LOT of hurricane powered projectiles...I have to agree with Rock,IT WILL HAPPEN, it's the law of averages..
