Pocket and EDC knives

Over the years, I have had many pocket knives. None have been high dollar knives, but they were usually of decent quality.

I finally sprung for a higher quality EDC knife. Spring assisted and locking. This thing is built like a tank. Takes and keeps an edge well....I think I will have it for a very long time.

It is a Benchmade Mini-Barrage. S30V steel.

What knives do y'all EDC and what do you like about them?

    Nice looking knife!

My edc knife is a Victorinox Recruit. I wormy don't carry a tactical folder as I'd just as soon pull the trigger, but for times when I can't carry a pistol I will also carry a Gerber assisted opener, the particular model has been discontinued I think.

Edit....its the Gerber fast draw serrated...apparently still in production although my knife has a black finish on the blade and screws.

I carry two knives. One is the Microtech automatic that Onehanddude so graciously gave me several years ago. The other is a Victorinox Swiss Army, in the officers configuration.

    The both have their uses.

    Peace

benchmade volli {CPM-S30V} and a benchmade barrage {M390 supersteel} on the other side

volli is for food, barrage for utility , plus in a defense situation you never know which hand will be free

Benchmade Infidel OTF Auto strong side front, Kershaw Liner Lock in horizontal carry strong side, Spyderco Police strong side back pocket, Victorinox Executive weak side front pocket, Microtech Auto clipped to weak side cargo pocket.
I like knives, what can I say?
As long as "they" are starting at the knives, they don't see either of the pocket pistols.

Man I am a knife nut and have at least 20 within reach as I sit here at my desk. I don't own any auto knifes. Just a personal decision. I do have a couple of Ernie Emerson's folders with the "WAVE" opener which is faster than an auto and much tougher. I have maybe a dozen Swiss Army Knives which are excellent tools. Lately I have been buying a few WWII military folding knives. I have some Benchmades and at least one Spyderco(the big police model).I have some cool little Case folders that I like. I recently bought a LT Wright small fixed blade that is nice. I don't need much of a reason to buy a knife.[:)]

CRKT M16-13ZLEK..I carry it because it has a seatbelt cutter and window break on it. I also like that it has a partially serrated blade.

    Kershaw Leek

Thin, heavy enough that it feels solid, speed-safe.

Cubs....I like the looks of the Leek, but I need to have a fatter knife. Arthritis makes it hard for me to hold the slimmer ones. That is why the axis lock benchmades caught my eye.

That CRKT that Shilowar mentioned would be another solid choice.

I had an M16 that was stolen (I think) and loved it.

    I like this one..... https://www.crkt.com/shop/everyday-carry-knives/m16-03s-classic.html
I am not a fan of serrations.

    Kizlyar Whisper.

I like a larger knife and one with a non-stainless blade so it will get sharp and stay that way with a liner lock. The Whisper has a 3.75" D2 tool steel blade and liner lock. They are made in Russia and they look and feel great in the hand. They have a Japanese style handle that is neutral in your hand so no mater how you hold the knife it feels good.

They cost between $80-$120 so while they are not cheap they will not break the bank.

Here is a photo of it off their website, mine is just like it but I don't were nail polish[;)]
