I would think based on the current prices just about everyone who ever wanted one has one ( or more )
I would have never guessed the day when for less then 500.00
so many AR-15 style rifles would be out there for sale "New ones" I can image a used one really gets a beating on price [:D]

I do think about all the $2k ar-15's bought a few years ago sitting in safes and closets with the owner shaking there head ,

what comes around goes around I hope not , but a future political party change gets in charge and starts the whole gun grabbing again

Good news. May be time to raise prices on the new stock...

There won't be any new AR's in stock for a while. Not till the manufacturers stop dumping them. quote:Originally posted by wpageabc

Had a guy offering a LWRC in a trade...hated to tell him his once $2600 AR could now be bought around $2000.

Saw a bunch on the shelf at the local place for $449. Not a top brand, but probably not a bad deal either.

You are thinking wrongly on this. You should be BUYING them right now! They WILL go back up, as soon as the bulk is depleted. Keep a few in the store, because you never know who will walk in the door and want one NOW.

You can't sell out of an empty wagon!

    I can't believe people aren't flocking to AR308's.
I bought a Windham Weaponry AR308 and have a hard time buying after-market accessories.

I held back last night against the evils sirens of temptation calling me from a PSA newsletter. Geissele SSA-E trigger and 10 pmags for
$249. (no tax and free shipping) The trigger is worth almost that much and then throw in 10 pmags... It was a pretty smoking deal!

I agree with D-R. Political changes will be a huge factor. It will happen but when is the question. I sold all of my Class3 items a year ago because I felt the bi**h would win and class3 would be the first thing that the admin would go for. I'll sit tight and probably won't see prices go up big time. My son will and hope he cashes out when the time is right.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

I bought a new shotgun and a M45A1 CQB last week. MrsFun would be cranky even though she knows it is show season... [:D]

There just be alot of room on Geissele triggers because I have picked up SD 3G triggers for $180 through primary arms when they were running as high as $260.
