What is the craze with them?
Listed at 2 separate times Russian M-38s.
Sold within 2 days!
I have 2 91/30's that have relisted a second time now[:(]
I don't understand why the M-38's go so fast and for a lot more money.

They're novel, cheap, historical, and ammo is or at leat once was plentiful and cheap. Personally, I think they're over rated but nobody asked me. I don't think they're that fun too shoot, even if it is super cheap to get going. I find them to be uncomfortable and I don't like the idea of paying to turture myself.

What are you asking for the 91/30's, a couple friends and i have been looking for a good deal on them. If the price is right i can get together with them and see if they want to buy them. Would have to use GB of course with a BIN or something like that. We all bought M44's when they were going for 58.00 each 3 years ago and now we all want the longer barreled 91/30's. Dought we will get them for that price.

Not as many M38s were produced making them more disireable than the M91/30 which can be bought everywhere. Same as the M44.

I'll take a great war dated one. I somtimes get tempted with a WWII say 1941 dated one but so far not.

I had 5 Nagant 91/30's both hex and round receivers, Tula factory that sold in 3 days to my local customers. They are a hot item locally.

They're cheap, a blast to shoot, remarkable accurate, and an amazing round.

They would make perfect brush guns in M38/M44 versions.

Seen a few set up as cheap Deer guns as well.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

Why more desireable? Because you can still get a 91/30 from AIM for under $90 with accessories. Not so with a 38.

    I've got a 91/59, (cut down 91/30) forerunner of the M38 and M44.
Sweet rifle, accurate and cheap to shoot.
The 91/30 is really an awesome rifle, there are just so many of them available.

You can't anymore. Not the m44 carbine. The standard 91/30''s are at Gander Mtn. For $89

Right now you can find ammo online for 21 cents a round delivered to your door. For about $300 you can get a decent rifle and 880 rounds for it (assuming you buy the 91/30). What's not to love?

Hate to say it but i now know why your 91/30's are not selling. Try cutting the price just alittle over half and you will be in the ball park of what there selling for in chain stores.

The rifle was $99 a couple years ago, the monte carlo stock was a Christmas present from the wife, that was another $79.99

I'd like to have a M38, not big on the bayonet or its mount
