Is he going to launch a civil rights investigation because I can't go into a Popeyes Fried Chicken in Norfolk without getting my * kicked?

A friend of mine and I were walking from the Naval Station, and stopped at a Popeye's to pick up some Chicken. Whole place went dead quiet, 50 eyes watched us go up, buy our chicken and leave.

Mulatto cab driver pulled up alongside us about a minute later and offered us a free ride out of the area. Said that even he was too white to be walking that street in the middle of the night.

At the time, I was a fit 6'5", 230, and my friend was 6', 210 or so. Guessing our size saved us a bit o trouble.

This was the summer of 1981, IIRC.

No civil rights violation unless a muslin tried to purchase a gun at that location. Who is this muslin?

No civil rights violation if a muslim is refused a pistol because the owner did not feel right about the sale.

Perhaps someone will correct me, but it is my understanding that an FFL can refuse to sell a firearm to someone if the sale does not feel right to him. It is a subjective judgement that could only be deemed a civil rights violation if a pattern could be determined.

No kidding. The McD's next door to the BET Studios outside DC is another place where reverse-racism is not only practiced, but encouraged.

I know about free speech and all that but in this case, the shop owner may have been better served to have just kept his mouth shut and refused the sale without talking so much.

Any grief he suffers he pretty much brought on himself.

They will simply suspend his FFL for failing to cooperate, or for violations and bleed him dry until he is broke. It is a proven tactic that they've used many a time to target and destroy individual citizens. Hope his books are perfect, because he's about to have a microscope shoved up his rear. He probably could have exercised his new policy quietly and been fine.

He started that investigation faster, then he lowered the flag, in honor of our fallen Marines and Sailor. [:(!] F this Muslim. Tired, just so tired of him and these libtards. Cannot wait until 2016, if we as a country make it that far.

What ever happened to a business having the right to refuse service to someone.

That went away when the water fountains for whites only and blacks only went away. The * should have kept his mouth shut instead of looking for attention, he poked the bear, now he's getting attention.

Making public statements that you intend to discriminate against a group based on racial or ethnic characteristics is going to attract the kind of scrutiny that a business owner doesn't want. Had he enacted his new policy discreetly, and restricted business on an individual basis then he may well have gone under the RADAR for quite sometime.
