We had a DOA a few weeks ago. His hoarding was so bad that he couldn't use his house heat. He used a space heater in the one room he existed in. There was so much trash that you walked on it about 3 feet off the floor. He was a wealthy guy, would drop his cash on the "floor", there were 100s, 50s, 20s etc just mixed in with the trash on the floor. It was a nasty situation. He peed and pooped on the "floor" and in bottles. You couldn't reach the bathroom. his distant relatives said there were hundreds of clocks and valuable antiques buried under the garbage. Glad I'm not the one having to clean it up, though his heirs will be happy to get his wealth.

What's wrong with hoarding??? In some people's eye's I'd be a hoarder with over 100 guns, and about 100,000 rounds of ammo, 50+ pounds of powder and about a ton of shot......

I was once told the difference between a collector and a hoarder is one is organized. The other is not.

I do not have any cats.

(And) I do not know what you are talking about. That is my story, and I'm sticking to it. [:D]

Hoarding at this level is not an obsession, it's a mental illness.

The mind control is working perfectly.
Stuff on the floor is bad.
Couple trees outside need trimming, grass is a little long, must be old, dead, or broke.
Nothing to steal here, move along.....[;)]
