Any Savage Nation fans? Apparently last night he quit! He won an arbitration hearing to get out of his radio contract and last night he abruptly said peace out! I used to listen alot, but its been years. I found him fun to listen too, though he'd so senile on occasion!

I used to listen to him years ago when I lived in California, I honestly did not realize he was still on the air.
I remember the first time I saw a photo of him I was shocked, I thought he was much older than he actually was.

I use to listen to him every night in the patrol car, until the local station drop him.

I enjoyed listening to him on the radio. He really gave the liberal callers a schooling!

I used to listen on occasion years ago, but not recently.
Kind of felt he was going nuts myself.

    No great loss to me.
Wonder how he will fill his time talking about what a genius he is,.......his many degrees,....and his best-selling books.

Oh before I forget, everything that has ever been said on TV, or the radio by anyone else was stolen from him.[:D]

I used to listen to him a lot a few years back, then I moved and he wasn't in a time slot that aligned well with my schedule. I love how he didn't pull punches or mince words.

Show business and the public attention is SO addictive. Don't be surprised if he "un-retires" himself in less than a year. [:D]

When he was on point, he was good.
Problem was,.....out of an hour of airtime, possibly 10 minutes might have dealt with something of importance.

The rest was filled with endless repetition about his education, writing, stolen sayings he claimed he coined,.....banned from Britain ad nauseam.

I truly can say that he is a perfect example of a human that does not need love,.....he loves himself enough to replace a wife.[:)]

I doubt he is gone for good, he was in the top 10 radio hosts IIRC. He is not on around these-here-parts, I got a kick out of his rantings and ravings.

I don't get the impression he hates his job, just his employer. the article says that he'll be back at some point. He's has the third highest audience in Radio, I am sure he's making a killing so he'll be back.

I agree. I used to listen to him every night but, lately, he just went on and on about his dog, Teddy, what he had for dinner, his house, his garden, his boat, how much he loves himself, insulting other talk show hosts and callers, blah...blah...blah...

I never heard of him, so I guess I won't miss him, but I pretty much listen only to satellite radio.

Used to listen until my station dropped him. Interesting fellow, a PhD, many books published, liked to run his boat in SanFran Bay, talked about his vintage Cadillac convertible, Jag, and new Ferrari.

I started listening to him after the "Obamas stash" caller. Great fun! Sorry to hear he's gone.[:(]

I could not stand the Stanly show just prior to the invasion of Iraq. When Obama got elected I was able to listen to him again and liked his view points. And they seemed to have changed from rabid war hawk to a more sensible outlook.

After the batman shooting however he was talking about how no one needs an AR15 or an AK-47. He even wanted to bad body armor.
