I had one (scarab). It was sexy and worked well provided the balde didn't impact anything as it opened. I sold it and just carry a more functional Emerson folder now
In short if you think it's cool you will like it. I had to get over it myself

I got one of these for kicks:

I was surprised it was so fun to mess with.

I have done some cutting with it. It will get sharp and yes the blade moves around but it is fun.

The button to activate the blade is stiff, but its fun.

I just check out those knives and they are proud of them[:0]

i carry 2 benchmades now, s30v and a m390 super steel, the barrage m390 is probably the finest knife i have ever held in my hand and holds an amazing edge

with the new law in Illinois i'm kicking around getting an automatic to replace my volli s30v but only if i can get an auto in m309 and microtech is the only one i can find in otf and i like the glass breaker on the end , but dont care for the possibility of the blade wobbling

The Microtech Ultratechs are good OTF knives. Microtech uses Elmax steel for the most part. Holds a good edge, and is fairly rust resistant. The Ultratechs have some blade play, but not terrible. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Take a look at the Microtech LUDT. I have sold a few with no complaints. There are a few guys on here that EDC them and like them. I have a red LUDT that I carry occasionally, very lightweight with a good pocket clip. They open fast also![:)]

Wife just got me this LUDT, it is schweet, very light and opens fast. I also wanted a Benchmade CLA...same price range, nice light auto knife aswell.

I was really liking that knife till you showed the close up and I do not like the screws. Hope none of them loosen up on you. Cause do you have the tool to tighten them.

Microtech has been using this style of screw for years. Some of their auto open knives have risen in value over $400 each, so if the screws were a big issue I imagine they wouldn't have such value. However they do sell the bit that fits that tri wing screw for $22.95.
