Comes with a $60 mail in rebate for a total of $320.
Is this a good deal?
UPDATE: He double checked the rebate and it is over so he gave it to me for $350 out the door.

I think they cost 420-475 depending on who is selling
But a good price.
Not night vision compatible. Iirc.
But a good price.
When I can afford night vision, I can afford a new Eotech. Besides, for the really fun toys, I go to my neighbor. He has two night vision scopes that retail for about $14K each. He also has a thermal imaging scope. I'm guessing that one isn't cheap either.
If you look around a standard 512 can be had for $365-$385.
New? Plus the $60 rebate?
I'm thinking local is just safer for something like this but I thought they were closer to $500 so I was skeptical.
$320 is cost for most businesses
So basically they are making their money because of the rebate.

New? Plus the $60 rebate? No idea about any rebate programs.
It's a couple years I bought a 511, broken, off the auction side. EOTech has a flat rate repair service. At that time it was $79. The end total was under $300 all shipping included, for a 511 looking and working factory new.
I don't know the fee today, but if anybody spots a malfunctioning EOTech cheap enough consider the flat rate factory repair option. Could work out for you.
Too bad they aren't made by Dillon........

Here's an EOTech document about what they call "Counterfeit" EOTechs, how to tell them apart from the real deal:

Lifetime warranty. But, only to the original purchaser.

The warranty card says 2 year warranty.
Exelis did that? That's a curiosity because EOTech is an L-3 company, and Exellis is an ITT spin-off. ITT/Exelis & L-3 are competitors on quite a few products.

Yep, Exelis, formerly ITT has a facility located in Roanoke. I was handed 3 brand new 551s in the boxes a couple days ago and told that's who gave them to us. ITT has given us a couple pair of NV too over the years.
