After I read the comment that Camping World's CEO Marcus Lemonis made regarding President Trumps speech about the violence in the deadly Charlottesville rally (calling both sides of the monument issue wrong), I wrote the following letter to Camping World;
"My wife and I have been a member of Camping World, Good Sam's Club for about nine years now but we will be cancelling our membership to Camping World and anything else associated with Camping World as a result of your CEO's asinine statements regarding President Trumps speech.
I am an American veteran, a voter and a consumer that until your CEO opened his mouth and ordered me not to spend my MONEY in his business was a dues paying member of at least two of your companys.
I voted for our President and I support his ideals as do MILLIONS of others that I hope will likewise stop doing business with your company.
Mr. Marcus Lemonis you are an idiot to make a public statement that bites the hand that feeds you (and all of your employees).
Camping World, Gander Mountain, etc have nothing I want enough to hand over my hard earned money to a business that tells me not to shop in their stores because my opinion is different from theirs.
Good luck with the aftermath".
Today I received this pretty limp reply;
"Hello,
I understand that you would like to cancel your membership with us but before I do that, would it be alright if I sent you a letter written by our CEO Marcus Lemonis explaining the situation?"

I won't spend another dime with them and I hope that Mr. Lemonis's comments have cost them millions.

Yeah he's come out with a "my comments were taken out of context" lame * response. The moment he took this stand he was doomed. This * responded with emotion rather than processing that the vast majority of his customers are from the right side of the political perspective. He couldn't resist that irresistable impulse to rub his little bit of power in the face of the Trump voter and now he is going to pay. If Camping World has any chance of surviving this they need to fire him immediately. Predictable outcome * canoe. [V]
