Ok, this has been on Youtube for a few years now, but I just stumbled across it. this gun aficionado claims to have built a fusion reactor.[:0]

    You do realize that with 100 year older tech they built the 1st one in a school basement under a gymnasium...

    I believe that was a fission reactor, you're referring to. This is a fusion reactor. The present difficulty he and his group face is to output more energy in a fusion reactor than is put in. Can it be done? Probably not, but I commend him for trying and the methods he's using to do it.

    That was fission....

    Fusion is a totally different animal.

    To date a self sustaining controlled fusion reaction has not been achieved. It is not something that you can just do in the basement...

    Too funny he's out in Floyd about 20 minutes away from where I live. Floyd is chock full of hippies. They have a Floyd Fest every year that brings in thousands of hippies.
