I have a DVD from the UK and want to have a copy made that I can watch here,anyone no where I can get that done.

Actually it was 45 year old family film that was transfered to video and transfered again to DVD.I knew it would not work on my tv but was hoping it would work on my computer.

That's odd they have region codes on a PC burn. See if it'll play on a Play Station since I've been told that also plays most DVDs.

depends on what type of dvd it is, and yes all movies are coded regional, just like when a movie opens at different times around the world dvd's are release in a strategic order, and dvd players are sold accordingly


you can download dvdfab5 for a free trial, and it can copy it and remove the region code,we are region code 1, uk is code 2

just buy a dvd player that plays dvd`s from all regions. mine does, and it only cost around $30.
