I recently had a gentleman win an auction; for a small semi automatic.
I am a private owner transfering to an FFL dealer. All I was sent from the FFl dealer was the money to pay for the gun; and all I received was the upper half of his FFL License which was ok.
But shouldn't I have something stating the type and model of Pistol whoch I am selling to him.
I Apperidate any Reply
Thank You Ron Shepherd

I am not sure what you are talking about by top half of the FFL as it is only 1/2 in size. You don't need something stating what you are selling him. This is assuming that you know which item he wants. If you have the FFL then you can send him the gun.

I get many auctions where I just get a MO with no info on it as to what it is for. Some how it really slows down my shipping [}:)] if I can not figure out what it is for.

    Ron,
If your in MI and it is a handgun, you might be better off to have a dealer complete the transaction, since a handgun would be registered to you, a dealer will send in a purchase permit that takes your name off of the firearm.

Thank you dongizmo. This is probably the best way to do it.
I have a friend that is an FFL; and he said that he could give me a hand getting it out of my name and to the other FFL dealer.
    Thank You
