7mm Win short mag

I have not added a new caliber to my gun collection in some time- well probably close to 10 years now that I think about it.

I have my eye on a Browning A Bolt in 7mm Win Short Mag on the auction side.

The ballistics look good but Im concerned that I will have trouble finding factory loads or brass?

Also I dont currently own a 7mm anything so unlike 223 or anything in 30 cal I don't have 7mm bullets laying around in mass.

Is the Browning I have my eye on worth the few headaches or is a new bullet dia in gimmick cartridge more trouble than its worth?

I have two "cousins" of that cartridge. My son shoots a 270 WSM, awesome round for all kinds of hunting. I hunt mainly with a 7mm SAUM, wouldn't trade for nothing(except maybe a 270 WSM).

Brass is available for that WSM and there is ammo out there. Those 7mm projectiles really fly well. My vote is go for it.
