We have had a little trouble with leakage, and have replaced the pump, air lines, and connectors. I think our next mattress will be something a little less complicated.
After the umpteenth vinyl bladder repair... I kept multiple vinyl repair kits on hand.
I couldn't make a repair any more and pulled the waterbed out...
Replaced it with a heavy duty air mattress placed on the floor...
A couple years later, the air mattress now repaired a couple of times...
We bought a Sleep Number 5000 King Size... (Similar to the p5 today).
And haven't had any problems since.
Other than the wife can't understand why the "number" changes if she's not in the bed...
Believe me... I've tried explaining how a relative pressure bladder works...
But in my mind... That has been the best investment in a bed I've ever made.
