glad they only play 5 minute quarters,[;)] it was 8-10 year olds and I doubt half the team could throw the ball high enough to even hit the rim. but I would take one of these games over those high priced pros anyday. ended up 28-6 and we lost, quite a bit of double dribble and walking wasn't called, but they had fun and it was fun to watch. other team had one little girl who couldn't have been 2 1/2 to 3 foot tall, but she would get in front of the taller ones and wave her arms and jump barely reaching their chest. she never gave up though....[:D]

It is fun to watch them when they play to have fun. Although, it sounds like one of my HS games, where the tallest player on our team was 5'11", and their starting guard was 6'2" and their center was 6'8". Good times.
I told my son to get right on him and harass him as much as possible. We were getting smoked and I called a time-out. He came up to me in the huddle and said, "Dad, that guy has hair under his arm!!" So I guess he was guarding him as close as he could.
