Hi-Point Carbine and aftermarket Mags

Any one tried any of the aftermarket Hicap mags in their carbine. I heard Hi-Point does not reccommend their use and they will invalidate the warranty....

Anyone know anything about this....

Thinking about getting one in 9mm for plinking...

How would Hi-Point know if you used a aftermarket magazine? Just saying.

The factory mags are 10 rnd. And cheap.
Buy a bunch and don't worry with the 15 rnd.

The aftermarket ones were reported to cause damage to the receiver of the Hi-Point. So I guess that is how they would know.

If it don't fit; don't try to hammer it into place.
The receivers are very solid pot-metal, and almost difficult to scratch.
Maybe those plastic mags are stronger?
