I'd like to extend a huge Thank You to all.(Pics)

On behalf of Buddy and I.

I thank you all.

We may at times disagree and argue, but seem to come together when another Member is in need.

That makes this place special.

I greatly appreciate all of your thoughts, input, prayers and the solace that has been offered.

This is a special group, and was why I finally joined after lurking for 10-12 years. I wanted to be a part of it.

I put my dog (and friend) down this am. It was extremely difficult, but it was the right thing to do.

I'm at peace with my decision.

I thank you all, very much.

-Ken-

You made the courageous decision that was the best thing for your beloved pet.
    You will see Buddy again.

Sorry to hear you had to choose that path. But glad that you did. Prayers for both of you.

Our furry friends need us most on two days. First when they need a home to live a happy life. The second on the day their pain is too much, and they need you to free them from it.

Thanks for being there for Buddy on both of those days, and all the others in between.

He will be at the Rainbow Bridge. He can play with my Jake and Reggie until you get there.

It is a brave thing you did; one of the most difficult decisions we pet owners face. Their short lives are filled with our love and it is returned 10 fold. That is why it hurts so darn much when they pass.

I've still got to work myself up to go out and bury him.

He is curled up in the front seat of my Jeep.

That is going to be hard.

There is no way, I can not have that type of unconditional love in my life.

The pictures Savage170 was so kind to post for me, were taken yesterday.

He was going through all that, and you can still see the gleam in his eye, and the goofy character he was.

    He will be missed.

    Prayers continue from here.[:(]
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Very hard thing to do even though we know it is the right and compassionate choice to make.

Remember all the good times you and Buddy had...he will be remembering on his side of the bridge.

Great pictures and Yep he still has that sparkle in his eyes. Not going to let you see him any other way. He will live in your heart forever and ever.

It is so DARN hard losing your best friend. My son lost his first dog as an adult and think it about did both of us in. He still has another but he lives with ex so don't see him very often.
His girlfriend now has two puppies SO I'm back in Puppy spoiling.

It's tough. Last time I was on the left coast working and could not help out at home with her. Mrs Fun still cries when she hears the song that was playing when they went into the Vet.

Sorry to hear of Buddys passing.

From " A pets ten commandments" #9.Please take care of me when I grow old-remember, you too, will grow old. #10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me, please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.

My wife and I grieved for four years when our "Max" passed and we found little "Willie". Try not to wait too long.

My heart aches for You and Buddy. You were there when he needed you most. Buddy won't forget. He will be waiting for you at the end of the road.

It came to me that every time I lose a dog,
they take a piece of my heart with them.
And every new dog who comes into my life
gifts me with a piece of their heart.

Maybe if I live long and well enough
all the components of my heart will be Dog,
and then maybe I will be able to offer love
As pure and completely as they do.

Tell the stories of his life and he will live forever
