Sun is a shinning here on the coast

Beautiful day here at Kure Beach NC. Sun is shinning, its in the upper 40s. Perfect weather for just kicking back on the pier and fish. Hell I don't even care if I get a bite.

I remember as a kid my grandpa would sometimes throw out an empty hook. All he wanted to do was sit and relax. He didn't want to be bothered with a fish. At the time I thought he was crazy but the older I get the more I understand.[8D]

Wave to me out there on the pier:

Beautiful here as well,.....high of 65, and a low tonight of 36.
Wind from the NW at 15 to 25 though. Made me wear 'long pants' today for the first time.

Something is screwy with my DSL that is probably related to this storm somewhere along the line. I never have issues unless a huge thunderstorm with a lot of lightning is taking place.

BTW,.....my grandpa did the same thing as far as the empty hook.[;)]

Just came in. I was the guy in the Blue parka at the end on the left. I caught a few spots and one flounder on a piece of Berkley Gulp. Nothing to write home about but supper at least.

Well it ain't shinin' on the DE coast, I can tell you. Blowing like heck and water is up in Dewey Beach over the road! But she is moving fast...I am worried about the surge as water is up everywhere and no where for it to go!

    Good luck up there.
